Event Description
Overview: Participants will explore the range of mild to severe neurocognitive impacts on clients. The presenter will discuss various methods for detecting neurocognitive impact. Lastly, treatment options and supports will be provided.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand how the brain or central nervous system can be affected directly by HIV
- Describe signs and symptoms of neurocognitive conditions and treatments for them
- Discuss best practices for screening clients with HIV for cognitive issues
