Save the Training & Resources Website URL for Future Reference

Keep the Shout Outs Coming

Shout OutWe recognize that these have been unprecedented times, filled with challenges and constant change. Despite the difficulties, it’s more important than ever to continue recognizing the hard work and dedication of those around us. Whether it’s a colleague or a supervisor, taking a moment to celebrate each other’s accomplishments not only boosts morale but also contributes to a positive and supportive work environment.

That is why we’re encouraging you to share a Shout Out for those who are going above and beyond! Recognizing the amazing work of NYSPHC participants – Fellows, Supervisors, Mentors and anyone else involved in the program – adds value to the entire team and highlights the effort that often goes unnoticed.

If you’d like to give a colleague or supervisor a well-deserved shout out, simply use the link here: Feedback | New York State Public Health Corps. It’s quick and easy, and your recognition will be shared with the whole program.

PCG Offboarding Documents

If a fellow intends to resign or conclude their fellowship early, they are expected to notify their regional PCG Point of Contact (POC), Staffing Solutions Organization HR (ssohr@pcgus.com), their Host Organization Supervisor, and their NYSPHC Fellowship Placement Coordinator (FPC) as a best practice. The written notice should include the fellow’s intended last working day and a brief explanation for their departure. Upon receipt of the resignation, SSO will initiate the offboarding process and process the employment termination effective on the date indicated in the notice.
