Event Description
This two-hour training will provide an overview of key concepts including:
- Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) Study
- Different types of trauma and the physiological mechanism of stress response
- The impact of trauma on the brain and body and the connections to mental health, substance use and chronic disease
- How to create a trauma-informed environment
