Research tells us that people who have accurate information about birth control are more likely to use it and avoid unintended pregnancy. In this training, participants will learn basic information about birth control and safer sex options. By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
-
Explain common birth control methods, how they work, and how to obtain them; and
-
Support clients seeking birth control and safer sex strategies.
Knowledge is Power provides essential information and strategies for all providers, especially those new to working in sexual and reproductive health care.

We will also enable the automated closed captioning feature on Zoom.
Language interpretation and other accessibility options may be available if requested at least one week in advance. Please contact the training institute with additional access needs.
