In recognition of Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, BIPOC PEEEEEEK will host in-person symposia focused on mental health in communities of color. This year’s theme “We Are Each Other’s Medicine” will address several topics of interest including stigma, cultural perspective, provider bias, violence, suicide, the criminalization of mental health in communities of color, disaster related trauma and increasing the pool of black mental health professionals.

In-person events will be held at 8:30 a.m. to noon in:

• Rochester on July 13th,
• Buffalo on July 14th,
• Syracuse on July 21st, and
• Binghamton on July 26.
