P2R Consortium: Prevention, Preparedness, and Response


This Bloodborne Pathogens Training is designed for healthcare professionals, including laboratory personnel, emergency responders, public health practitioners, supervisors, and any employees who may encounter blood or other potentially infectious materials in the workplace.

Dr. Aurora Le, PhD, MPH, CSP, CPH, Associate Professor at the Texas A&M University School of Public Health, will provide an overview of bloodborne pathogens, exposure control measures, personal protective equipment (PPE), and procedures for responding to exposure incidents. Participants will gain practical knowledge to help reduce occupational risks and support compliance with workplace safety requirements.
