The Next Frontier of Public Health Interoperability

Public Health Interoperability is the ability of public health systems to exchange data with healthcare systems and support the use of the data for public health action. This two-part webinar will provide an overview of current initiatives to advance public health interoperability.

This two-part webinar series will explore national and local efforts advancing interoperability across the public health ecosystem. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of federal frameworks, emerging models, and the practical role of intermediaries such as Health Information Exchanges (HIEs) and Health Data Utilities (HDUs). 

This is the second part of the webinar series. It will take a deeper dive into how intermediaries, including HIEs and HDUs, support real-world data exchange for public health action. Participants will hear directly from public health agencies as they share experiences, lessons learned, and considerations for engaging in interoperability initiatives.
