The de Beaumont Foundation, the Consortium for Workforce Research in Public Health (CWORPH), and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health invite you to a solutions-focused summit dedicated to the future of the state, local, and territorial public health workforce. 

The opening session will feature a conversation between Brian C. Castrucci, DrPH, President and CEO of the de Beaumont Foundation, and Keshia M. Pollack Porter, PhD, Dean of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, moderated by John Auerbach, former Director of Intergovernmental and Strategic Affairs at CDC. Together, they will explore the challenges, opportunities, and bold ideas shaping the next era of public health, grounded in insights from the 2024 Public Health Workforce Interests and Needs Survey (PH WINS).  

This session will be followed by panel discussions on the workforce challenges faced by public health departments nationwide and ways to engage with policymakers to make the case for workforce investment and solutions.
