
Healthcare staff work in a very demanding, stressful and sometimes understaffed environment. Pay can often be an issue. Many things are not within a manager’s control to change. However, what leaders can change is the way they engage with their team so that they can build strong positive elements into a challenging environment.
The focus of the program will be on understanding differences in communication styles, and how managers can adapt their communication to be more effective with their team. We will look at how these changes can improve morale and retention with review of workplace examples/scenarios that illustrate these strategies.
