Our June ASPPH Presents webinar, Advocacy in Action: Advancing Public Health in a Shifting Political Landscape, is a policy update and a call to action. Held in conjunction with ASPPH’s member-only 2025 ASPPH Sections Retreat, it will serve as an advocacy briefing with a deeper, more strategic discussion for ASPPH members as well as the broader public health community.

As public health faces escalating political and budgetary pressures, strategic advocacy is more important than ever. This session will highlight ASPPH’s current federal policy priorities and provide practical insights on how academic public health professionals can engage with decision-makers, build coalitions, and communicate the impact of their work in today’s charged environment.
