Dr. Maria Aguilar-Amaya, Rocko Cook, and Anaid Gonzalvez of Arizona State University will present on their program, Detailing for Improved Sexual Health in Arizona (DISH AZ), which is an academic detailing (AD) program that launched in 2021 by Arizona State University (ASU) in collaboration with the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS). DISH AZ targets health care staff caring for individuals with and at risk for HIV, emphasizing a holistic approach to improve care and patient outcomes using AD sessions. They will present on their strategies involving developing programs and education with a status-neutral and pleasure-based biomedical approach, addressing outreach methods, protocols, and clinical practices.
