Artificial Intelligence: Considerations for Public Health Practice

The purpose of this webinar is to define the concept of artificial intelligence (AI) and its current and potential future applications to public health practice. The webinar will include practical discussion of barriers and facilitators for effectively incorporating AI into public health organizations’ population health activities.

At the conclusion of this webinar, participants will be able to:
 

• define artificial intelligence (AI) and its core capabilities;
• describe how AI supports public health agencies in fulfilling at least two of the 10 Essential Public Health Services;
• describe at least one barrier to AI adoption by public health agencies; and
• describe strategies and implementation steps for AI use by public health agencies.
