Event Description
Health Equity Community Collaborative

Join our monthly HECC Community Gatherings! In these gatherings we aim to co-create non-recorded spaces for belonging, as well as for co-creation, actionable activities, and policy work.

Thursday, April 3rd

Led by HECC Core Partner Durryle Brooks, Ph.D, MA, this month’s session will dive deep into "Healing As Resistance: Sustaining in Times of Crisis" giving community members an opportunity for:

  • Grounding & Centering: using a series of prompts focused on building blocks and your personal compass, you’ll check in on yourself and connect with fellow changemakers in small breakouts
  • Practicing Intentionality: you’ll complete your own Healing Practices Map and have an opportunity to examine what came up for you during the exercise
  • Sharing & Strengthening: during a group reflection, exchange insights and any ah-ha moments, helping build collective resilience to advance health equity

*Please note: By registering for this event, you agree to receive emails about this event and future communications from the Health Equity Community Collaborative.
