Webinar: HIV Providers' Perspectives on Harm Reduction: From "Patient First' to Sobriety First’

Dr. Emma Kay is the Associate Director at the Center for AIDS Research, Implementation and Community Sciences Core in Alabama. Dr. Kay’s research focuses on harm reduction and the aim to minimize harm associated with substance use. Nearly half of all people with HIV in the US are diagnosed with a substance use disorder, but little is known about HIV provider’s knowledge of harm reduction in the HIV care settings. Dr. Kay will present findings of their research on the topic.
