The goal of the Regional Consortium Meetings is to bring Fellows, Local Coordinators and Mentors together to collectively enhance the public health infrastructure at the Local Health Departments through professional development.  Consortium meetings will be facilitated by myself with a guest speaker, centered around public health priority topics, and include networking opportunities.

Consortium meetings are strongly encouraged for Fellows to attend. We understand that a conflict may arise where the Fellow may need to be excused from the Consortium to tend to LHD priorities. In that case, we will be recording each Consortium to ensure participation; however, we encourage in-person attendance to enhance the learning experience for the Fellow.

We are excited to invite Mentors to attend (once identified) due to their integral role supporting Fellows in the Fellowship Program, and we also encourage LHDs to share this opportunity with members of your local partnerships to further enhance your existing collaboration. Attendance is optional for LHD Directors and Supervisors, although we very much welcome their participation!
